Riverside group seeks pet food donations
The ASK Cafe in Riverside is seeking pet food donations for low-income families.

The ASK Cafe, which distributes pet food each month to low-income families, is in need of food donations for September. The monthly giveaway helps about 45 families, according to the organization.
The September distribution is set for Wednesday, Sept. 7. Food is given away on a first-come, first-served basis.
Unopened bags or cans of dog or cat food may be brought to the Riverside animal shelter, 6851 Van Buren Blvd. during business hours.
