The holidays can be a difficult time for families in need, and the Avenue Animal Hospital of Tinley Park is trying to make the upcoming holidays a little easier for both pets and their owners.
The hospital is holding a food drive for canines and felines and the families that love them. Avenue Animal Hospital manager Kim Gignac, along with receptionist Shelby Saylor, are hoping the food drive collects around 1,000 pounds of food, which beat their record of 855 pounds in 2014.
