Pet food drive has started - Lynden Tribune

WHATCOM — All are invited to participate in a Holiday Pet Food Drive that benefits the Whatcom Humane Society’s Pet Food Bank, the Ferndale Food Bank, the Blaine Food Bank and the Project Hope Food Bank of Lynden.

The Whatcom Pet Care Network collected over 2,700 pounds of pet food in a holiday drive last year. This year, the goal is 4,000 pounds.

Businesses have agreed to host bins for pet food collection in November and December. An interactive map of donation locations and a full listing of all the participating businesses is at whatcompetcare.com. Whatcom Pet Care Network organizes the event, manages the boxes and distributing the donations.
