HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Holyoke Parks and Recreation is running a pet food drive to benefit local pets in need.
According to Holyoke Parks and Recreation, donations of pet food and other supplies can be dropped off at the Parks and Rec office in Holyoke City Hall, located at 536 Dwight Street. Donations are being collected through December 21.
All donations will benefit Dakin Humane Society, Thomas J O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, and Kane’s Krusade.
The following is a list of needed donations:
Cats and kittens:
- Canned cat food
- Dry cat food
- Human baby food
- Cat litter
- Cat toys
- Small ceramic bowls
- Fleece material
- Light tuna in water
Dogs and puppies:
- Freeze dried beef liver
- Bully Sticks
- Hot dogs
- Greenies Pill Pockets
- Kraft Each Cheese/ spray cheese
- Fleece material
Birds, bunnies, and other small animals:
- Large cages in good condition
- Fresh greens, red and orange peppers
- Carefresh bedding
Cleaning and sanitation supplies:
- Large trash bags
- Paper towels
- Hand sanitizer
- Dish soap
- Bleach
- Liquid laundry detergent
- Liquid hand soap
- Facial tissues
Office supplies:
- Postage stamps
- Copy paper
- Pens
- Scissors
