KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) - The Kingsport City Schools Transportation Department dropped off a busload of food and supplies for the Kingsport Animal Shelter Friday afternoon.
The Transportation Department held a pet food drive from March 13-April 17.
With the help from students and faculty, the department made a donation of over 1,000 pounds of cat and dog food, blankets and cleaning supplies to the animal shelter.
The Kingsport City Schools Transportation Department loaded up a school bus and dropped the donation off Friday afternoon.
