The Gretna-based dating app Dig has just landed a $50,000 award from Purina to use in an interactive marketing campaign. Co-founder Leigh Isaacson accepted the award at Purina’s Pet Care Innovation Summit in St. Louis last week.Dig is known as the dog person's dating app and has downloads nationwide.California cat DNA sequencing company Basepaws was awarded a $125,000 investment at the summit. The company provides health and food profiles for pets based on its DNA.
