State Sen. Diane Allen, R-7th Edgewater Park, is collecting food and other items for animals in an ongoing pet food drive at her district office in Cinnaminson.
“As an animal lover and supporter of the Burlington County Animal Shelter, I know how difficult it can be to feed and care for the many animals that are in the facility waiting for their forever homes,” said Allen. “I’m glad to offer my office as a collection point for the many dog and cat lovers in the area who want to donate to support the shelter.”
The following is a wish list of items that the shelter needs:
- Dog and cat food
- Kitten food, formula and bottles
- Newspapers
- Kuranda medium dog beds
- Kuranda cat beds
- Toys and treats
- Dog Kongs
- Dog Wobblers (treat dispensing toys)
- Stainless steel dog bowls
- Cat litter (non-clumping only)
- Slip lead-type dog leashes
- Cat carriers and dog crates
- Heartgard
- Frontline, Advantage and Biospot
- Blankets, sheets and towels
- Bleach or other disinfectants
- Cleaning supplies (sponges, brooms, etc.)
- Liquid laundry soap (high efficiency)
- Dryer sheets
- Paper towels
Donations can be dropped off at Allen’s office at 504 Route 130 N., Cinnaminson, Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
