CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Pet Food Center and The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County are joining forces to replenish much-needed food and supplies for the care of Humane Society animals.
The event will take place all day Nov. 19 at Pet Food Center (2243 West Lowes Drive, Suite E) and at the Humane Society of Clarksville (940 Tennessee Avenue).
Needed items, or the “Wish List”, will be collected at Pet Food Center and donations will also be accepted at the Humane Society of Clarksville.
In addition, Pet Food Center will give the Humane Society a 10 percent cash donation on each bill of sale for needed items that are purchased and then donated to the Wish List.
The Wish List for cats includes: Cat beds, litter, catnip, Dewormer 4-way for dogs or cats, any dry cat food, Kong incline cat scratchers, scratching posts, toys, and flea/tick prevention, and assorted Nature’s Miracle stain and odor sprays.
The Wish List for dogs includes: dog houses, folding crates, dog beds, treats and canned food for diabetic foster dogs, furminators, Greenies or Nylabones. Kong chew toys, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, Remington slip leashes, and any dry dog food.
