STONINGTON — Two Stonington women have organized a pet food and supplies collection that will run until the week before Christmas.
This is the fourth year Kim Yurchick and her mother, Vickie Siebert, have held the drive.
“Last year we donated to SPCA of Hancock County well over three truck loads of donations,” Yurchick said. “Every year the drive keeps getting bigger and bigger.”
Yurchick said any pet supply donation is welcome: food, blankets, toys and treats.
Donations may be dropped off at Billings Diesel Ship Store in Stonington, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in Deer Isle and Hairbenders in Ellsworth.
