Spooky, pretty and high-performing pups are invited Sunday to attend Operation Underdog’s Halloween event — Tricks and Treats.
The event, hosted from 1 to 4 p.m. at Pet Supplies Plus in Beckley, will feature an adoption event, pet photos, a costume contest, a pet parade and more.
Operation Underdog, a nonprofit organization formed to assist the Humane Society of Raleigh County with rescue efforts, will offer pet photos for $5 each.
The pet parade and costume contest will begin at 2 p.m. The cost to enter the costume contest is $10. Categories include spookiest, prettiest, judge’s favorite, owner/pet duo, most unique, best trick, and best former Underdog.
A number of vendors will also be on site at the event, including Plexus, Homespun & Heartfelt primitives and crafts, Mary Kay, Tye Dye Shed, Perfectly Posh, My Buskins, Plunder, BE-YU-tiful You by Shawna, Wee Beasties, Scottee Rae Leggings, Scentsy, The Essential Revival, SoKate LuLaRoe and TJ’s Crochet.
Pet Supplies Plus is located at 1268 N. Eisenhower Dr. in Beckley.
