More than 3,000 tons of cat and dog food worth 197.47 billion rials ($5.9 million) were imported into Iran during the eight months to Nov. 21, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration said.
France, with nearly $2.48 million, was the biggest exporter of these products to Iran. Other major exporters of cat and dog food to Iran over the eight-month period were Germany, the UAE, Italy, Spain, Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Latvia, Mizan Online reported.
