GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - If you have a pet, you know how important it is to feed your animal the right kind of food. But for many people in the Grand Valley, getting their pet any food at all can be a challenge. One organization is trying to fix that.
The Tiara Rado Animal Hospital is hosting their fifth annual pet food drive this month, where community members are encouraged to donate food and money to help those families.
In past years, the hospital has collected nearly 7,000 pounds of pet food, and over $3,000 dollars, all going to hungry pets.
Those wishing to donate can drop off dog or cat food, or cash and check donations to the Tiara Rado Animal Hospital from now through November 9th.
