More cat and dog food needed for Camp Fire victims - KOLO

RENO, Nev (KOLO) Once again, the co-founders of Pet Evac Pak are asking Northern Nevada to donate pet food so they can make a delivery to the towns of Paradise and Magalia Sunday, March 10.

Scraps Dog Company is the drop-off location in Reno and Sparks. However, you can buy the pet food at the stores and make the donation there.

Michelle Danielson says this will be their 5th delivery to the area in as many months. So far 10,000 pounds of food has made its way to the area burned by the Camp Fire from the Reno-Sparks area.

That’s thanks to Pet Evac Pak and the generosity of Northern Nevadans.

"The folks in Paradise and Magalia are still struggling,” says Michelle Danielson with Pet Evac Pak. “And we want to make sure, our goal is to make sure they are able to keep their pets. So we are delivering to the Angels Among Us. They have a huge tent set outside next to the church in Magalia."

Danielson says wet or dry dog or cat food is greatly appreciated. Please buy or take your donation to one of the three Scraps locations in Reno and Sparks. Danielson will pick up the donated items up Saturday afternoon, March 9.
