The Stephens County Humane Society (SCHS) is looking to replenish stock for their pet food pantry from anyone who can donate dog food or cat food.
One donation has already come in this morning and volunteers will still accept food donations from noon through 6 p.m. today.
SCHS started the pantry to help curb surrenders based on not being able to feed their pet. The pantry is open to anyone who needs a little help getting their fur-family fed.
“Maybe your hours at work have been cut, maybe you are recently unemployed,” they wrote. “Perhaps you have had an illness or accident in the family that is draining your financial resources.”
Drop off donations at SCHS, located at 714 M L King Jr Ave. SCHS is usually open by noon most days, call ahead at 580-252-7387.
