The Humane Society of Citrus County is hosting a Cram the Van event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in front of the Homosassa Walmart, 6885 S Suncoast Blvd.
Donations will help replenish some much-needed supplies for the shelter at 751 S. Smith Ave., Inverness.
The Humane Society of Citrus County is a no-kill shelter and receives no assistance from any local or national organization, including the Humane Society of the United States.
The shelter houses dogs waiting for a new forever home. The dogs require food, shelter, medical and general care.
