Photo: Michael MinasiKriser's Natural Pet, a retailer of pet grooming, supplies and natural foods, will open its fifth Houston-area store Nov. 12.
The store will be the first tenant in a redeveloped center at 1515 W. Gray St. in River Oaks, according to the retailer. This will be the natural pet-products retailer's 42nd location nationwide, and a two-day grand opening is planned.
"River Oaks is a phenomenal community in which to continue our mission of helping pets live happier, healthier lives, naturally," founder and CEO Brad Kriser said in a statement. "Our expansion into Houston in the last few years has been met with a remarkably positive reaction from the community, and we can't wait to engage with even more pets and pet parents as a trusted resource for education, products and grooming."

Kriser's has stores in the Heights, West University, Champion Forest and The Woodlands. Countrywide, Kriser's are concentrated in metro Chicago, the Denver area, Southern California, suburban Washington, D.C., Austin and San Antonio.
