Cat of the week
Buttons: Domestic Short Hair, Large, Adult, Female, Tabby & White, ID 1481C. Buttons came to the shelter after being relinquished by her owner due to health problems. As a kitten she loved digging a button out of a jar, then batting it around and playing with it all day. She does get along with most other animals, but is not particularly fond of dogs, though she might tolerate some if they are not aggressive.
Dog of the week
Wanda: Labrador Retriever/Terrier, Medium, Young, Female, Chocolate & White, ID 2110. Wanda was relinquished to our custody by her owner who could not care for her any longer. She is a friendly girl and she knows a few basic commands. Wanda was adopted on 03.12.17 and returned on 10.30.17 due to the fact that the family was relocating and couldn't take her along with them. Wanda has been around other dogs, cats and children, and gets along with them all. She is looking for a inside home with a securely fenced yard to exercise and play in with her new family.
