More than 4,000 pounds of donated pet supplies are headed to Napa Valley.

Moravia Wines in Fresno has been collecting food, cat litter and more for the past three weeks.

It's to help Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch care for farmed and domestic animals displaced by the fires.

Moravia owners say they reached out to their customers on social media and the support has been overwhelming.

Owner Wendi Hammond said, "So it seemed like that would be good timing. We thought we'd ask our customers. We have about 4,000 pounds of supplies we are taking up."

Hammond says customers also dropped off checks as did Girl Scouts troops.

A total of about 3,000 animals from cats to horses were displaced by the devastating fires.

Moravia Wines is located at 3620 N Bishop Ave. in Fresno.
