Pets in Pocatello won't go hungry this holiday season thanks to one family.
Shannon Levitt and her two children, Lindsay and Kaden, for the fifth consecutive year held their annual Pet Food Drive.
She collected food for pets and over four thousand dollars that both went towards the Bannock Humane Society, thanks to the generous contributions of the community.
Eileen Jackson, Bannock Humane Society Volunteer said, "She's sort of like our special angel, she and her children. I think that everybody in this community can learn a very kindness lesson from her and we are so grateful."
The food will be distributed to pets at a weekly basis, and the money will go towards the low cost spay and neuter program that the Bannock Humane Society has.
