GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — Pet Valu held a ribbon cutting Dec. 9 for its new store in the Smithville Square Shopping Center.
The grand opening celebration featured perks for humans and pets, including free dog washes in the store’s self-serve station, goodie bags for the first 50 customers, raffles for pet items and gift baskets, pet pictures with Santa, face painting, and free doughnuts and pet food samples.
Based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Pet Valu operates pet-friendly stores across the country that offer products including holistic and premium brands of pet food and treats as well as pet supplies, according to a press release.
