New sanitary solutions for chilling, heating liquids | 2019-04-22 - Pet Food Processing

BUFFALO, N.Y. —Mokon, a supplier of circulating liquid temperature control systems, has unveiled new sanitary designs equipped for critical environments in pet food processing, extrusion and packaging applications, as well as biotechnology and pharmaceutical, food and beverage processing, medicine and vitamin processing and other applications.

The new line includes circulating water, portable chillers and a combination of chilling and heating systems built for cleanroom and sanitary environments. Temperatures range from -20 F to 380 F (-29 C to 193 C).

“The addition of this line of cleanroom/sanitary products provides customers with a greater selection for their process heating and cooling requirements,” Rob Kennery, vice president of sales and marketing, says. “Mokon is always striving to meet the needs of our customers with a wide range of customization options and accessories.”

The equipment is made with stainless steel to meet ISO Standards of Cleanroom and other controlled environments and features NEMA 4X rated panels and wash down designs.
