Grayville prekindergarten and kindergarten classes hosting a pet supplies drive to help out the animals awaiting homes at the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
Donations will be collected through Nov. 8. VHS depends on the support of the community to be able to give the best possible care to the animals awaiting homes. The VHS accepts all kinds of donations like Friskies pate-styled canned cat food, scoopable litter, clay cat litter, Purina Kitten Chow, Purina Cat Chow, cat toys, canine training treats, collars, manila folders, photocopy paper, beach towels, distilled water, pipe cleaners, black Sharpie markers and black ink pens. The community can help in the following ways: You can send a donation to school with your child, you can place a donated item in the collection box at Borowiak’s IGA, you can bring your donation to Wells Elementary School or Grayville Junior/Senior High School and place it in the donation box, or if you prefer to make a tax-deductible monetary donation, you can make checks payable to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society and send it to the school in an envelope addressed to Miss Kathy, Miss Lori or Ms. Combs.
