Describe your new business.
Pet Supplies Plus offers area residents an easy-to-shop environment, offering a broad range of food from premium items to basic grocery products and a wide variety of pet toys, equipment, fish and critters. Additionally, the new neighborhood pet store will carry an extensive variety of Made in the USA pet consumables such as wet and dry food, treats, rawhide, chews and more—all at great prices and with a price-match guarantee. The 7,040-square-foot store will also feature a self-service dog wash and a carry-out service to help neighbors carry heavy purchases.

How and why did you go into business?
Being pet people ourselves, we wanted to offer neighbors in the Concord Mills area great pet items along with healthy and affordable food and treats. Along with convenient service, we want to give folks the store experience we would like to have ourselves.
When did you open?
Grand opening weekend was Saturday, Sept. 9, and Sunday, Sept. 10.
Who is the store team leader?
Store team leader Craig Spooner comes to PSP Concord Mills with 34 years retail customer experience – with 17 of those within the pet space. Craig’s knowledge about everything pet truly helps make Pet Supplies Plus America’s favorite pet store.
Where are you located?
We’re at 8895 Christenbury Parkway in Concord near the new Kohl’s and Earth Fare. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. The store phone is 704-549-1901.
