Kankakee Police and Kankakee County Animal Control are hosting a Christmas pet supply drive and adoption fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the shelter located at 1270 Stanford Drive in Kankakee.
Supplies for the dogs and cats can be dropped off at the shelter.
Dogs and cats can be adopted at reduced fees.
"We've got some really nice animals, and we're hoping to get them homes for the holidays," County Animal Control Administrative Director Julie Boudreau said.
They will be raffling off gifts, and Santa will be on hand.
